Pray for Nakeke.
What is happening in the Nakeke area is not a new development. Governor Lobong has been destroying EES for far too long and is finally handing the mantle to his student, Advocate Ajo. With his slogan, “It is now,” this new political entrant signals the complete vandalisation of the state.
Eastern
Equatoria should prepare for the worst under Advocate Ajo. The Toposa people
have been resisting the exploitation of their land, but the burden has been
heavy. Lobong continues to drain their gold in broad daylight without any
accountability. Today, if you hear about the fighting in the Nakeke area, it
should not surprise any serious citizen of EES. Ajo and Lobong have agreed to
dismantle the state to enrich the Juba cartel through sham elections and
dynamic empowerment.
If
you want to understand Ajo’s leadership style, follow the illegal court trial
of Dr. Riak and his co-accused. A true citizen will not support what is
happening in Juba. This is not about supporting Riak and his political group
but about the facts that led to their imprisonment. Ajo, who is contesting for
the governorship of EES, is an accomplice being used by the regime against Dr.
Riak. He will use his claws to pull your eyes and blind you to his evils if he
gets through the needle. Remember that his involvement in the court case proves
his poor judgment and therefore qualifies him as incapable of leading the great
people of EES.
Furthermore,
Governor Lobong, through Hon. Adut, is not letting him down, and they are using
him to continue their destruction of the state’s resources. That is why Nakeke
is bleeding. We call upon the people of EES to stop Ajo from becoming governor;
otherwise, they should prepare to gnash their teeth even more than they did
under Lobong. Vote Ajo out and choose a leader who understands and bears the
pain of the people—not advocate Ajo.
