THE REAL SPLM/A ARE SELLING CHARCOAL

THE REAL SPLM/A ARE SELLING CHARCOAL

By. Ayella John Bosco, 16th May 2025

In 2008, the SPLM political party embarked on carrying out a census of its members and recruitment through registration. I officially registered as a party member in Nimule, which earmarked my love for politics and community issues. I did not know of any other political parties until 2010 when Dr. Lam Akol formed his SPLM DC to stand against Salva Kiir, the then President of the Southern Sudan Government.

I had several reasons for joining the SPLM party, amongst others was the pressure to shape my political career through attaching to it. This did not go well through the experiences I had observed, for example, the current Member of Parliament under the OPP who represents Madi corridor in Torit assembly suffered suppression, although he had been active promoting the SPLM agenda.

SPLM originally had a great vision shaped by the unity of the people, equality, and liberty for all who fought collectively for the independence of the people. Unfortunately, this vision ended up with the key founding members like Dr. John Garang, Kerbino Kuanyin, William Nyuon and the rest. The remaining cadres have corrupted and tainted the vision of the party to the extent that my membership ID voluntarily got lost. This reminds me of what happened when Joshua died; the next leadership in Israel drove people into a spiral conflict throughout the Judges’ time. Judges 1:1, 2:11 onwards

Today marks the 42nd year of the party's existence, but is it worth celebrating? What do South Sudanese, and especially the party members, celebrate as achievements of the SPLM? A Party that lost direction and is headed nowhere, a party that uses the national army to bomb its citizens, a party that profiles nations discriminatively to kill, does not deserve recognition, and that is the SPLM of today.

While the party claims a legacy of independence for the nations from the Islamic rule and tyranny, people should know that the level of life under the SPLM party is worse than the Jalabas. Many can testify about the hypocrisies, until the SPLM returns freedom to the people, until the SPLM returns power to the people, until the SPLM returns nations to the people, it will continue to be the only problem of South Sudanese in South Sudan and Africa as a whole.

You will notice that the SPLM existed as SPLM/A only between 1983 and 2011. Whatever we have now is not SPLM but bunches of looters, bunches of terrorists and killers, bunches of corruptors, bunches of visionless elites. SPLM previously paid their SPLA, but the current SPLM is unable not only to pay SSPDF but also the civil servants. That is why SPLM does not exist any longer.

As citizens of this great-to-be nation, let us be mindful of whom to give credit to; not everyone who dresses in a red T-shirt is SPLM/A. The real SPLM/A are selling charcoal because they are afraid to loot their own. The real SPLM/A are quarry stones and selling firewood to take care of their families since their rights have been denied by a bunch of robbers called SPLM under President Kiir.

With all that in mind, joining the SPLM party politics now is just a brain drain, a bedwetting dream that no sensible and patriotic citizen must do. If anyone wishes to celebrate this day because his father, like mine, or mother fought for independence, let it be in future when the nation restores hope to the people.

MAGWI COUNTY UNDER CATTLE ATTACKS AGAIN.

File Image July 11, 2025. To the Commissioner,  Magwi County Magwi County Maize Crops under Cattle Attack Again I am writing to inform you that Magwi County is once again facing an attack by cattle driven by the Dinka Balalo of Uganda. This is a direct result of an evacuation in response to the President's executive order aimed at stopping cattle-related conflicts in the Acholi region of Northern Uganda. As you may recall, the last conflict in Magwi County, which occurred in February, claimed lives and was not an isolated incident. Similar conflicts have recurred since 2014, when the Dinka Balalo from Bor forcefully entered Magwi County and the Equatoria region. Hon, you and the Magwi County community need to be aware of the potential resettlement of cattle in our lands. Our county's livelihood depends on its fertile soil, whereas the Dinka Balalo's survival relies on milk production. I urge you and your security team to remain vigilant and prevent any cattle ...

IN HIS FOOTSTEPS: The Characters of A Leader's Heart

Meta AI "This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work." 1 Timothy 3:1-7 Devotion 10. July 10, 2025 God's Design for Leadership   God alone is omniscient and sovereign. He designed leadership with specific character traits, appointing humanity to steward the world on His behalf. As we progress through Scripture, we observe God's design for leadership and the character traits required of each individual.   For example, He denied Saul leadership despite the pressure from the people. He chose David from among Jesse's children because David met His criteria, possessing the character and qualities worthy of leadership. In leadership, there are specific characteristics that leaders must embody to lead God's people. Paul listed these qualities in his letter to Timothy, emphasizing integrity, humility, and servanthood as essential for leading the church of God.   The Contrast Between God's Design and the Worl...

ESTABLISH A SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT DINKA KINGDOM WITHIN THEIR TERRITORIES.” Advocate Kenyi Advises President Kiir

Advocate & human rights lawyer Kenyi YA Kenyi said that Salva Kiir has long abandoned the national interest of South Sudan and instead chosen to pursue a narrow and divisive tribal agenda. From the time he was appointed deputy—based on tribal considerations—during the liberation struggle to all his subsequent roles within the regime, Kiir has consistently implemented policies that prioritize the interests of one ethnic group: the Jieng (Dinka), at the direct expense of the other 63 tribes of South Sudan.   Through his actions and appointments, he has systematically planted the seeds of division, ethnic discord, and mistrust among our people. Under his leadership, South Sudan—a sovereign nation built by the collective sacrifice of 64 tribes—has been reduced to what increasingly appears to be an absolute Jieng Kingdom, with Salva Kiir acting as its self-declared King.   If Kiir remains committed to advancing his tribal project, then we are left with no option but to gran...
