One of our pastors, my mentor, who recently passed away, bravely battled pneumonic cancer for almost 15 years. I had the privilege to consult with him about life and spiritual growth during his lifetime. In 2021, when his condition started to worsen, I felt discouraged and lost hope. However, he shared a powerful statement: "The devil is playing with my bones, but never will he touch my spirit life," referencing Ezekiel 37:11. This moment made me realise the importance of persevering through life's crises, and I stopped worrying about his life.
