THIS IS FAR FROM THE END OF THE CHALLENGES AHEAD

The coronation preparations are underway! The elders have gathered, and everyone is buzzing with excitement. Prince Kenny has waited patiently, and now his time has finally come. Everyone is pitching in, crafting coronation garments and getting ready for the big day. Even the kids are celebrating ahead of time, not wanting to miss a moment of the fun, but one thing in the air, the Prince’s uncle would not allow the coronation to happen for his own interest

The organising committee announced the coronation date - just two months away! The organising president, Jamal, rallied the elders and subjects to mobilise resources from every household to make this day unforgettable. The prince's family is busy preparing for the reception ceremony, sending out invites to relatives and in-laws.

However, amidst all the excitement, the vetting process has hit a snag. The elders are scrutinising the prince's associates, raising concerns about their maturity and morality. The debate is heated, but they are prioritising peace and moving forward with conditions: each candidate must submit their CV and family bibliography. The wicked Uncle Samson is still lurking in the shadows, but the focus remains on ensuring a successful coronation.

The senior elder's question hung in the air: "What can we do?" He continued, "We have good reasons to select some of these candidates for the future." Nevertheless, before he could elaborate, the wicked uncle, Samson, spoke up, his words dripping with authority. "No one should reverse what the ancestral spirit has declared," he warned, his tone brooking no dissent.

The room fell silent, shocked by the uncle's intervention. Prince Kenny sat quietly, his reservations evident on his face. Deep down, hope seemed to be dwindling, trapped by the uncertainty that had been cast over the proceedings.

The senior elder's eyes met the wicked uncle's, a silent challenge passing between them. The air was thick with tension as the elder replied, "We must consider the well-being of the kingdom, not just tradition."

Uncle Samson's wicked expression darkened. "You question the ancestral spirits? You would risk the kingdom's prosperity for your own doubts?"

The prince shifted uncomfortably, sensing the conflict escalating. He knew the elders were trying to protect him, but the wicked uncle's influence was pervasive.

Just then, Akena, the youngest among the elders, spoke up, "Perhaps we can find a middle ground. Let us review the candidates' qualifications and align them with the ancestral spirit's guidance."

The room fell silent again, weighing the Akena's words. Slowly, nods of agreement circulated among the elders. The wicked uncle's scowl deepened, but he remained silent.

With a deep breath, the senior elder declared, "Very well. We will proceed with caution, balancing tradition and wisdom. The coronation will go forward, but the vetting process will continue with scrutiny."

The prince's hope flickered back to life, and he nodded in gratitude to the elders. The path ahead remained uncertain, but with the elders' support, he felt a sense of determination wash over him. The wicked uncle's plans had been momentarily thwarted, but the prince knew this was far from the end of the challenge ahead.
