Let me tell this story, it was on this day
when a group of children rose in schools demanding better education. They stood and yelled in the streets, they
sang remorseful songs calling for improved education in their lands and ultimately
won justice. While they battle this poverty, many have revisited their
ancestors in peace.
Today marks a milestone day to honour the
great cause planted for every child to fight battles, the battle against
poverty, illiteracy and moral disorders. This battle is too intense to win; it
requires commitment as its sole bullets, determination as its missiles and discipline
as its wheel, without those, your life will be a nightmare.
Unfortunately, instead of rising against
these threats, children have surrounded their voices with moral decadence; the
streets have turned out to be a parliament to fight disciplinary orders that
their parents summon. As a result, many have visited their ancestral world in
pieces with no joy but torments all the while.
My dear children, despite all these, there
is still a blessing to earn, your time and attention to the wisdom of your
parents, and those who are there to lighten up your shrouded paths are the
answers to this chance. There is no way you earn a living by a magical
incantation in the streets, or a miracle quagmire in the pulpits. Your soul is
a respite to discipline, commitment, and determination.
As we remember your colleagues who emerged
victorious through their blood and endured miles in the desert, let this memory
fill you with discipline, commitment, and determination, guided by those who should
mentor you. Let the streets exalt your glory, not because you are a nightmare,
but because you are a star that illuminates its darkness.
Finally, your father is proud to be your father because he fathers you with a mantle of fatherhood. As such, he is engineering a bold future that will usher you into peace, love, and joy. Bow your heads in silence and envision the challenges that lie ahead of you; you will overcome them only when discipline speaks louder, commitment travels faster, and determination hits harder. You possess these qualities - obey!"
