COINED LIKE A SKELETON CARRIED IN A TRAIN.

A Junubi Child Contends  in anguish
HOPE IN THE DARKNESS

Stanza 1:

Like a wandering dog, along the street of pain

On an empty stomach, I sought solace in vain

Filled with bloody tears, eyes stained

Coined like a skeleton, carried in a train

Widely opened, ready to wallow in the grave

Echoes of dignity, trodden down the wave

Chorus

Oh, oh, oh, there's hope waiting for you

In His arms, like a shepherd, He will hold you tight

Do not falter; He conquers for you, shining bright

Stanza 2:

A lion in the den, I hid the sorrow in the cave

Eaten by deadly stings, never thought to crave

Bounded by the might of integrity, I held on to proceed

Like a prey outwitting its predator, I found the strength to heed

There is a light of hope, beyond the shadows of greed

Never frail in your resolve, you will rise, unshaken, indeed.

Chorus

Hold on to hope, don't let it fade

In His presence, your heart will be made new each day

He's your Saviour, your heart's desire, forever the same

Stanza 3

Move out like Abraham, glance at the stairs of the sky

Beyond the back of the blue, above ages, some lives fly

Get off the remorse, shade of the anguish, in the land dry

Lament loudly, the vociferous ancestors; he does not shy away

He divinely listens to you; Him you need to turn to.

He fights; he conquers and shields his, never faltering.

Chorus

There's a light ahead; don't lose your way

In His love, you'll find the strength to face the day

He's your refuge, your guiding star, shining bright.
